- In general you should budget for about 5% over the purchase price.
- In Morocco VAT is charged on all new build properties at a rate of 14%.
- For resale properties VAT is not applied.
- In addition on some new resort developments there will be ongoing running costs of around €90 - €110 per month, including utility, maintenance and management charges.
