  • In general you should budget for about 5% over the purchase price.
  • In Morocco VAT is charged on all new build properties at a rate of 14%.
  • For resale properties VAT is not applied.
  • In addition on some new resort developments there will be ongoing running costs of around €90 - €110 per month, including utility, maintenance and management charges.
